Cash App doesn’t work internationally – you can’t transfer funds to someone abroad.
The Cash App service is only available in the United States and the United Kingdom. You can only use the app to send money within the country where you live.
The Cash App allows users to pay friends and family, make payments to vendors, and send money.
In contrast, Cash App will not work if you live outside the United States, United Kingdom, or if you want to pay someone in another country.
Cash App does not work internationally–
Cash App’s help page states that payments to international recipients are not currently supported.”
Consequently, if you live in the US and would like to send money to your friend living in Canada, you can’t do so.
If both parties are located within the 50 states, the Cash App will only be able to enable you to send funds between two parties when both are located in the United States. As a result, it won’t work on other US-owned properties, military bases, or territories (like Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
Users who live in the United Kingdom can download Cash App starting on April 3, 2018. Residents of the U.K. can integrate their bank accounts with the app to seamlessly send funds (without a charge) to anyone who has the app. In comparison to the US, the UK does not offer the Cash App Card.
Although the US and UK are both able to use the Cash App and its features, it is not possible to send money between them. Using the Cash App to pay a merchant in the UK will not be possible if you live in the US, for example.
