How to permanently Delete Cash App Account History in 2022?

Cash App users don’t have to delete their history from Android and iPhone, as all past and future transactions are already private. In contrast to Venmo, transactions are already private, so it doesn’t require any changes.

In order to erase all evidence of your payments from your phone, you must delete your Cash App account from Android and iPhone.

The Cash App and Venmo are examples of peer-to-peer money transfer apps that have been made possible by advancing technology. In place of exchanging cash or making change, we can now easily send each other money on our mobile phones when someone owes us money.

By tapping the clock icon in the bottom-right corner and opening the Activity tab, you can view all of your transaction history. If you’ve used the Cash App before, you know that you can view your transaction history. Besides seeing a list of recent interactions, you can also see a list of your recent contacts.

Additionally, you will note that these interactions can not be deleted. It simply shows the payment’s details and states whether it’s pending or complete when you tap on it. By tapping the three dots in the top-right corner, you can get a web receipt or contact Support if something is wrong.

Tapping a payment does not allow you to delete it — it only gives you payment details.

It isn’t possible to delete your history in your account settings either. There are only three options under “Privacy & Security”: enabling or changing a PIN lock, making your cashtag searchable, or enabling or disabling payment requests.

There isn’t much difference between this and Venmo – Venmo, too, does not let you delete your transaction history, but you can choose to make all of your past and future transactions private.

Venmo has a social timeline where you can see other user’s payments. Cash App does not have this.

The Cash App, on the other hand, allows you to make private payments, so you and anyone else involved in the payment will be able to see the transaction.

There’s no need to make your transactions private unless you are not interested in seeing them on your phone – in which case you would have to delete your entire account.
