4 Easy Ways to Remove a Follower on Spotify – Gbhouse

There is no way to remove a Spotify follower or block them. Nevertheless, you can make your profile as private as possible to avoid getting unwarranted followers. Using the Windows and Mac clients, you can make your profile as private as possible.

Ways to Remove a Follower on Spotify:

Method 1: Limiting Shared Data

  • Launch Spotify on your Computer
Open the spotify on computer and log in
Open the Spotify on Computer and Log in

Your phone won’t give you all the options as the web browser or the computer client will. If prompted, log in. If you are not logged in, you will not see the same options.

  • Go to your profile page by clicking your name. On your screen, it’s located in the upper right corner.

  • Click on Setting. On the menu, you can find this option near the bottom.

  • By clicking the toggle next to “Make my new playlists public”, you can turn it off (if necessary).

It may already be off, in which case you can skip this step. This will ensure that every playlist you create in the future will be listed as private. Whenever you make a new playlist, you will have to repeat this process.

  • Turn on the toggle next to “Start a private session to listen anonymously” to do so .

In contrast to the previous toggle, this one will also be in your phone’s Settings. Select Settings (gear icon) > Private Session.

As long as you keep the app open, a “session” will last only as long as it is open. When you close the app, you will need to reopen it every time you use it on your computer or phone.
